The organizers of the Metallica's performance in Lima
hope to gather 50,000 people at the concert to be presented on 19th January at the Universidad Mayor de San Marcos Stadium.
The businessman Koki Fernandez, who is promoting the show, told the press that this stadium has the capacity to accommodate the huge crowd of fans of the legendary band of "heavy metal."
"Metallica can't perform to less than 40,000, so that's why we considered this stage, that meets all the security requirements," he said.
The band will perform in Lima as part of a world tour promoting his latest album "Death Magnetic," which also will take them to Colombia, Venezuela, Chile and Argentina.
If the ticket sales meet the organizer's expectations, this concert could become the most massive in Peruvian history.
