An online survey conducted by the website Peru.com states that 72% of the participants thinks that Peru's President, Alan García, must do changes on the Cabinet's structure, because of the past events in Bagua (Amazonas). # David N says :

Too bad Spain wouldn't take Peru back. Since 1821 this country has been nothing but one disaster after another. Must have been a nice country way back then, but now it's been ruined.
The best form of government in these countries down here is a dictatorship. The culture is one of corruption and everyone is trying to rip off the next person, Peru needs to be ruled with an iron fist. These people down here can't handle a democracy.

Just to add.
As I have said many times before, I am that person, I should be made overload and supreme leader of Peru. Since I am so perfect, I would get everything right, I am like a living god, a symbol of devine perfection.
Peru would have no problems with myself and my abilities in charge.
Who wants to follow me ?

Hmmmm....this may not be the forum to seek out your followers.
Although at times, your comments thoroughly amuse our family. You seem to point out the faults of this country which every Peruvian knows but doesn't appreciate a foreigner pointing them out. But one does wonder, why do you continue to stay here if you could be somewhere else?

Because I believe deep down inside me that I should be the ruler of this land.
Maybe from a past life, but somehow I believe that I am the heir to an ancient Andean king. Since Spain does not want Peru back, its a good time to make a move.
Cheryl, would you also like to become one of my followers ?

david N.
seems that you admire hitler, maybe you can lend some money to humala and be part of the next election, if there were a dictatorship in peru. you, David, would be in problems because you wouldn't be able to pay 400 soles to your maid per month. And you have to paid a good salary to your employees and your maid. so you could not afford to do your shopping at jokey plaza. and if you asked your wife to do the shopping at gamarra she would dump you for another gringo. remenber she has a valid visa.
so for you and some americans must be praying the democracy continues.
bye

14 years old with Peruvian parents? LOL You must not make much cash as a 'system engineer.'
Tell you what, genius. How about you put up some links to these 'bizzare messages' you claim to have found. The google link you claim to have found would be useful. Go ahead and post that address you have, too, while you're at it.
What's that, can't do it? Yeah, didn't think so, liar.

BTW, Halcyon - Never shop in Peru. Gamarra has improved but still in a bad part of town. Nasty. Jockey Plaza is lame. Buy a shirt in Jockey, and in one week you'll see three other people wearing the same thing. Besides, everything down here is designed for short little dwarf type people 5 1/2 feet tall, not gringos.
Our 2 maids are spoiled rotten. Tell me they would never work for a Peruvian again. Peruvians haven't figured out more money, better treatment, more time off makes for happier employees and zero turnover. Heck, 9 months a year they only have to take care of my wife's parents and one elderly aunt, very easy.
Every day I see how some of the senoras here in Lima treat their housekeepers...you people should be ashamed of yourselves.
