“In its eleventh edition, the Peruvian long-distance runners ratified their favoritism in the competition organized by Adidas achieving the first places in the three distances, although it was the Kenyan Tomothy Kipngetich the absolute winner in the 42k”, Lucidez informed.

The Kenyan completed the 42 kilometers and 195 meters in 2 hours, 17 minutes and 54 seconds, followed by Marcos Condorhamán and Nelson Ito. As for the women, it was Clara Canchaya who arrived first.

This event also hosted a half marathon, which consists of a distance of 21 kilometers and 98 meters and also a 10-kilometer race.

The Lima marathon grants classification to the Boston Marathon since it has international certifications. Also, for the first time, anti-doping control was carried out on the winning athletes.
