As we said in the past months, different culinary and travel ceremonies have been held, and Peru reigns as a travel and culinary destination.
Maido reigns as the best in Latin America for the fourth time. This year’s election was based on Mitsuharu Tsumura’s Amazonic menu, his fusion of oriental and amazonic flavors.
Among Maido, eight other restaurants appeared in the Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurant 2023 list, with a special recognition to the best sommelier in the region to Maido’s Flor Rey:
- Central moves to The Best of the Best a special category, after winning Best of the World the past June.
- #1 Maido.
- #7 Kjolle.
- #10 Mayta.
- #13 Mérito.
- #33 Osso.
- #39 Mil.
- #42 La Mar.
- #46 Rafael.
- #50 Cosme.
