According to the magazine Forbes, Lima has become a sophisticated, touristic option over the years, and the hotels the city offers are proof of that.

This is why they have created a list of the best seven hotels in Lima:

1. Belmond Miraflores Park

Right next to the ocean, this hotel is located in “Lima’s well-heeled neighborhood”, as Forbes described it. Very close is the malecón, a seaside promenade and also the shopping center Larcomar.

2. The Westin Lima Hotel & Convention Center

“In the bustling financial district of San Isidro, this large, modern hotel’s imposing height mirrors its striking interiors”, Forbes described it. It also has an indoor pool, a spa for relaxing after a long day and a large fitness area. Here, people can also enjoy some of the best Peruvian cuisine in the country.

3. JW Marriott Hotel Lima

The JW Marriott Lima is an all-glass tower in Miraflores. Close by you will find high-end shopping and restaurants and beautiful views to the Pacific Ocean.

4. Country Club Lima Hotel

“Located in Lima’s thriving San Isidro, this regal, historic hotel evokes the city’s colonial past”, said Forbes, referring to the hundreds of art pieces it has. It’s rooms all have flat-screen TVs, WiFi and large bathrooms with soaking tubs.

“The award-winning Peruvian restaurant, Perroquet, has an extensive wine list of regional and international vintages”, they also said.

5. Hotel B

This hotel is located in a mansion in Lima’s trendy Barranco district. “Hotel B, a Relais & Châteaux property, is among the city’s most coveted locations for those seeking a luxurious boutique hotel”, according to Forbes.

6. Swissôtel Lima

“The Swissotel Lima is in the heart of the affluent San Isidro neighborhood and is one of the city’s grandest hotels”, you can read in the article. After a multimillion-dollar facelift in 2015, this hotel offers spacious rooms and large bathrooms. In addition, its spa has received many awards and it complements the swimming pool and fitness center.

7. Hilton Lima Miraflores

Finally, the Hilton Lima Miraflores, close to Kennedy Park, is also located in Miraflores, close to the ocean but on the quieter end.

“Take a plunge in the hotel’s rooftop pool and then marvel at the incredible city views from one of its two hot tubs. The large, well-maintained top-floor gym is also an inviting place to work out”, Forbes described.
