The offer of green skin avocados from Peru is lower than in 2018, according to information from Flesh Plaza.
Most of the requests for this type of avocado comes from the European Union and it is somewhat lower compared to last year, 2018.
In addition, according to forecasts, “these discrepancies will be even more pronounced in weeks 34 to 41”, Fresh Plaza said. They also say that this will happen before the country reaches the same figures they had last year.
As for the Hass avocado type, the largest shipments that arrive in the European Union come from Peru but in week 41 Chile could surpass the offer.
