The Lucuma Festival returns to Pachacámac, after several years of absence, and people can enjoy this fruit in different presentations.

“In this event, which will take place on Sunday, March 17 at the district’s main square, you will find artisanal ice creams, cremoladas and desserts where lucuma is the protagonist”, Perú 21 said.

The delicacies will be prepared by bakers who buy the fruit form farmers in the area. “They will be more than happy to share their knowledge with you, they will tell you how it is planted and how it is harvested, you can even buy it from the wild to take it home”, the aforementioned media wrote.

The festival will begin at 10:00 am and there will also be tourist circuits available to enjoy cultivation fields and the ruins of Pachacámac.
