The Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Exports and Tourism (Promperú) recommended a list of seven must-see destinations where you can spend the last days of this year and celebrate the arrival of 2019.
According to the information published by El Comercio, these are the places you need to visit:
1.Beaches of Ancash (Huarmey and Casma): Enjoy the summer sun on the beaches of Ancash, Huarmey and Casma. Here you must try the gastronomy, one of the best in the north of Peru.
2.North Chico (Barranca, Huaral, Huaura): Here you can also find great beaches, and don’t forget to visit Supe Puerto and Pativilca, two places full of tradition and culture.
3.South Chico (Cañete): If you want to experience some history, Cañete you can appreciate the extraordinary Lomas de Asia, the historic San Vicente de Cañete and the adventurous Lunahuaná.
4.Loreto: Its exotic landscapes, fauna and flora will amaze you from the start of your journey. Here you can enjoy forests on white sand, be a part of the Boras tribe for a day and travel part of the Amazon River hand in hand with those who know it best: its people.
5.Piura: The land of eternal summer offers visitors beautiful beaches, ideal for water sports. Máncora, Colán, Los Órganos, Vichayito, Cabo Blanco or Lobitos, are the paradise of surfers from all over the world.
6.Tacna: The warm weather in the morning will allow you to enjoy its beaches with calm waves. In addition, its thermal waters and lagoons will be the perfect places for you to relax.
7.Moquegua: Enjoy good gastronomy, picturesque villages, mansions and wineries of wines and piscos, in a city that has much to tell.
