When we started Living in Peru twenty years ago with the conviction of creating an expat community that shows the wonders of our everyday lives in Peru, Carsten Korch, the creator of the project, is an entrepreneur from Denmark that has dedicated almost half of his life to be a beacon of your best Peruvian experience.
In our twenty years, we have been part of the tourism and gastronomic revolution, from the first generation of cooks that used to travel a present food and culture, to the media success of Gastón Acurio, to the winning of Central as the best restaurant in the world, we have been there, told you stories and share it with you.
We gathered a community of English speakers and showed them the wonders of Peru with tastings and travels, we founded our sister website devoted to promoting traveling in Peru, and during the worst of the pandemic, we aided our fellows with information and connection to allow them to return safely to their countries.
In the next twenty years, we will show you more in the know stories, take you places, and offer you food, fashion, hotels, and anything good about living in Peru.
